A follow up on my post, about a South Korean woman’ attempts to get a driving license despite failing it hundreds of times.. She finally passed the exam on the 11/6/2009 in her 950th attempt (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/8347164.stm) !!!
Congratulations, Mrs Cha Sa-Soon !!
Reminder for the rest of us to never give up :).
Congrats indeed, but I hope I never have to drive on the same street as her.
It reminds me. I was once at a vendor training class. And instructor was from Atlanta. And he mentioned how someone from one of Northern states once ended up in Georgia when it was snowing there. So the guy says, “It’s ok, I know how to drive in snow, we do it all the time.” Response – “Sure, but you are on your own because the other 1,000 people driving next to you won’t.”
LOL.. But you have to appreciate her determination though :).
Call me when she is on the road so I can hide!
@Rich – When will you start appreciating patience?? 🙂
950th attempt… oh my god.. Want to touch the feet of that studious brilliant driver! She must be filthy rich to fund 950 times for the exam.
@ Rich, LOL.
