Dr. Ross Williams created taobackup.com in August 1997 to share best practices for backing up data. Presented as conversations between a master and a student, its lessons still hold up nearly three decades later.
The fundamentals haven’t changed and Dr.Williams explains them well. His other websites explore an interesting mix of practical and esoteric topics, too. Well worth a look.
As a fun experiment, I used Meta’s Muse to turn these backup lessons into a manga-style comic. Enjoy!

Turning the Tao of Backup into Manga
Data backup wisdom meets manga. I used Meta’s Muse to turn the master-and-student lessons from Dr. Ross Williams’s taobackup.com into a comic.
