I logged into [Gmail](http://gmail.com/?ref=kudithipudi.org) today and noticed this small icon on the left hand side of the rich editing option, a small icon showing the letter “a” in my native tounge ([Telugu](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telugu%5Flanguage?ref=kudithipudi.org)).. Me being the curious kind, clicked on it and found out that I can now compose e-mails in multiple [Indian](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/India?ref=kudithipudi.org) languages ([Hindi](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hindi%5Flanguage?ref=kudithipudi.org), [Tamil](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tamil%5Flanguage?ref=kudithipudi.org), [Kannada](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kannada%5Flanguage?ref=kudithipudi.org), [Telugu](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telugu%5Flanguage?ref=kudithipudi.org) & [Malyalam](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malyalam%5Flanguage?ref=kudithipudi.org)) by typing in English. Something that Google calls “[transliteration](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transliteration?ref=kudithipudi.org)“. Here are some screenshots of me using the feature
