- Description: Data backup wisdom meets manga. I used Meta’s Muse to turn the master-and-student lessons from Dr. Ross Williams’s taobackup.com into a comic.

[Dr. Ross Williams](http://ross.net/home/Home.html?ref=kudithipudi.org) created [taobackup.com](http://taobackup.com/?ref=kudithipudi.org) in August 1997 to share best practices for backing up data. Presented as conversations between a master and a student, its lessons still hold up nearly three decades later.

The fundamentals haven’t changed and Dr.Williams explains them well. His [other websites](http://ross.net/home/Home.html?ref=kudithipudi.org) explore an interesting mix of practical and esoteric topics, too. Well worth a look.

As a fun experiment, I used Meta’s Muse to turn these backup lessons into a manga-style comic. Enjoy!
